Personal site using SASS and Github pages Jekyll

I’m going to use the bourbon library.

It allows for the clearfix class. I included it with @include

To center something you set the parent container text-align: center and the clild to display as an inline block.

You can also use margin auto. It’s margin: 0 auto because the first is top and bottom. The second is right and left.

Here’s a hack for centering something with absolute positioning.

Getting updated version of Ruby

Open your terminal and run
\curl -sSL https://get.rvm.io | bash -s stable When this is complete, you need to restart your terminal for the rvm to work. Now, run rvm list known This shows the list of versions of the ruby. Now, run rvm install ruby-2.4.1 If you type ruby -v in the terminal, it still shows you ruby 2.0. To use the latest installed version. Run rvm use ruby-2.4.1 To set this as the default version, run rvm use ruby-2.4.1 --default

Here’s how you use SASS with you Jekyll site.
